Swing Caddie SC4 Pro
Space requirements
Voice Caddie: 'positioned approximately 5 feet behind the ball, level with the hitting surface, ball aligned to red mark on device top'; for indoor net/screen use, '10 FT from the ball to the net/screen' recommended. Measuring range 15-370 yards.
- 5 ft behind the ball for the unit itself — radar-style placement eats room depth.
- 10 ft minimum ball-to-screen per manufacturer/retailer guidance.
- Width: 10 ft workable offset, 14 ft for a centered both-handed bay (industry guidance — see model).
What it measures
Ball data (11): carry distance, total distance, ball speed, launch angle, launch direction, apex, spin rate, back spin, side spin, spin axis, dispersion/deviation
Club data (2): swing speed, smash factor
Measured vs. calculated: Same K-band 24 GHz Doppler radar as the SC4; speeds/launch measured by radar, distances modeled. The five Pro-exclusive metrics (backspin, sidespin, spin axis, dispersion, swing-speed mode) are machine-learning upgrades that 'live primarily in the app' (Golfers Authority).
Accuracy: No numeric manufacturer tolerance published; Breaking Eighty (2026) calls it 'a killer budget launch monitor' with the same 24 GHz radar sensor as the SC4.
